Chatham, MA… 4th of July parade

Howdee all,

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July.

chatham parade_004 While in Chatham..I like taking a morning walk to pick up a coffee and scone.

This particular morning we found the streets lined with empty chairs.chatham parade_008

I don't know what time people started to bring them ..we were in town around eight.chatham parade_003

The parade started at nine thirty.chatham parade_010 The chairs were no longer empty when we came back into town.

  1. Wow, looks like they have a good system going with those chairs. That town knows how to do the fourth up right!! Loved seeing all the red, white and blue.

  5. Stopped to smell the daisies, I see. Wonder how many people in all that crowd actually saw them. Daisies always attract me.

    It was a heat wave in cape cod the week we were there..thank goodness it cooled off nicely at night.
    We are now in Acadia National Park.
